Log Lifters

The Page Macrae Log Lifter-SR and Page Macrae Log Lifter-MR allow an operator to safely load up to 32 tonnes of logs in one manoeuvre without needing any workers in the ship’s hold to unclip wire ropes. This eliminates the risk of injury and saves loading time.

• The Log Lifters have a simple maintenance schedule owing to the simplicity and ruggedness of the design, combined with fewer moving parts.
• The Log Lifter-SR utilises a single release mechanism and retains the wire ropes upon release, preparing it for the next loading manoeuvre.
• The Log Lifter-MR utilises a four and two hook release mechanism. This multi-release design is ideal for loading scenarios where the wire ropes are required to stay in the hold for re-attachment when unloading at a destination.
