Brief Description:

The Banner radar sensors use Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) to detect moving or stationary targets. The sensors can be used for collision avoidance on board mobile equipment such as reach stackers, forklifts, and mining vehicles or port machinery such as carriers, handlers, and shippers.

Key Features and Other Technical Information:
  • Lower frequency radars can see high dielectric objects including cars, trains, trucks, and cargo even in extreme weather conditions.
  • Higher frequency radars can see a wider array of objects and are more robust than an ultrasonic sensor in most applications, including outdoors.
